READER PROFILE

Each month, THE TICKET commands the attention of nearly 22,000 affluent travelers in and around the Southeast

THE TICKET has been published EVERY MONTH since April 1993!
Readers of THE TICKET are not bargain hunters.
They are important, busy people in search of practical travel information.

OVERVIEW

Smart frequent travelers, travel managers, and corporate travel agents have come to rely on a single source for the information that matters to them most: The TICKET.

Published monthly by Travel Skills Group Inc., The TICKET is an electronic newsletter and website portal designed specifically for Atlanta-based frequent travelers.  Researched and written by former CNN Headline News correspondent Chris McGinnis and the staff of Travel Skills Group, The TICKET is regularly cited as an authoritative source of business travel information by print and electronic media in Atlanta and around the country.

Since its debut in April 1993, The TICKET has grown steadily by the best means possible: word of mouth. Readership has climbed to nearly 22,000 per month.

Important: THE TICKET is an “opt-in only newsletter”, which means that subscribers have visited our web site and signed up to receive it. Our newsletter is never sent as unsolicited “spam.” This means that your advertising message is exposed in a positive environment that your potential customers are eager to read. (See our reader profiles.)

Every month The TICKET includes sections on airline news, airport news, frequent flier information, hotel and car rental information, international travel, “mailbag” responses and feedback, and airfare news. (Please see our archive for examples.) News from The TICKET is regularly cited by newspapers or broadcast on local radio and television.

Circulation:

Each month at least 7500 frequent travelers receive The TICKET via e-mail. Our research shows that each copy of The TICKET is forwarded on to at least two other travelers, bringing our readership to nearly 22,000 per month. (In addition to readers sharing THE TICKET with fellow travelers, many corporate travel managers and large travel agencies forward THE TICKET to thousands of their travelers.)

Once readers finish reading the newsletter, they return time and again to the helpful  TICKET Portal website, which is used by almost 15,000 to 20,000 unique visitors each month to research and book their travel. (Want to see who is reading THE TICKET? See our reader profiles.)

 Advertising Benefits:

The TICKET newsletter and portal provide advertisers with an excellent means of reaching a very specific market niche: the affluent, Atlanta-based frequent traveler, travel manager and travel agent. Also, because The TICKET greatly limits its advertising each month, media buyers can be assured that their advertising dollars are well-invested and clutter-free.

Advertising Possibilities:

>Place your banner plus a 50-word text ad in The TICKET, our monthly newsletter (4 positions-- to see your placement options, please see our sample page.) NEW: Much larger more visible skyscraper ads are now available in our newsletter!

>Advertise on the The TICKET PORTAL Web Site with a large graphic banner ad (threepositions—top and bottom). To see your placement options, see THE TICKET Portal.
